Maki started her dance career with ballet at the age of four, and has been studying Raks Sharki (bellydance) since 2001. She has studied and taken workshops with many teachers to immerse herself in this beautiful dance form. Her instructors and workshops include, Jalilah, Jillina, Amir Thaleb, Morocco, Tamalyn Dallal, Yasmina Ramzy, Hadia, Sahra Saeeda, Saqra, Sabura and Rahma. She is part of the Ninawa Eastern Magic Dance Co. headed up by Moh Alratta and Moh Abu Ras. These two are amazing dancers, formerly of the Caracalla Dance Company of Lebanon.
